Cervico-Medullary hemangioblastoma
A hemangioblastoma is a noncancerous (benign) tumor. It grows from the cells in the lining of a blood vessel, usually in your brain, spinal cord or the tissue at the back of your eye (retina).
History of patient.
- Mr XXXXXXXXX
- 55years/ Male
- Progressively Slurred speech and left side of body weakness.
Oral Examination. O/E.
Motor
- Weakness of Left side of extremity U/L,L/L 4/5.
Right side of extremity U/L,L/L 5/5.
Sensory .
- Lt U/L, sensation reduced, rest of all other extremity preserved.
Cranial nerve.
- Lt Gag reflex- was about to absent.
- CN-X- Speech slur.

Cystic lesion at cervico-medullary junction.

- Mid sub-occipital craniotomy and excision of lesion under intraoperative neurophysiological monitoring IONM GA-TIVA.
Baseline MEP OF CBT and Pyramidal tract.
SSEP.
LT Upper limb signal was not good as per clinical examination.

- No new neurological deficit along with improved gag reflex, speech, and other symptoms.
